than bother me? Holy God, I have a million things to do and every 2 minutes somebody else wants something. Sometimes I wish I could close my office door and turn off the lights for about 2 hours. Yeah….that would rock.
Anyway, here’s a video of a dancing dog. The pooch has some skillz.

Dr. Phil’s test

It’s only 10 Simple questions, so…grab a pencil and paper, keeping track of your letter answers to each question. I got a 38 and, although I’d like think otherwise, it seems pretty accurate for me.
Birth Test
Posted by swingate | Filed under General, Jokes, Phun
I’m a 2 and it’s definitely accurate for me.
Put your “number” in the “Subject” and pass it on. Have fun.
Your birth date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing.
To figure out your birth number, add all the numbers in the birth date together, like the example below, until there is only one digit.
A birth number does not prevent you from being anything you want to be, it will just color your choice differently and give you a little insight.
Example: March 20, 1950
3 + 20 + 1950 = 1973
1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20
2 + 0 = 2
Keep going until you end up with a single digit number.
2 is the birth number to read for the birth date in the
example. Find your number and then read on.

To Live and Die in LA
Posted by swingate | Filed under Amore & Vita, General, Phun
Well, I’m finally back in Hell-A. Pretty ironical (STFU) that it was warm all week in Atlanta but I arrive back home to rainy and cold…cold by SoCal standards at least. It’s amazing how much Atlanta has grown in the seven years since I left. Even the south side (where most of us darkies live) has been rejuvenated. I definitely see myself moving back within 2-3 years.I’d prefer to finish my degree before I go. No doubt that will open more doors for me.
I had dinner and drinks with “A” – my dear friend, first love and likely soulmate. Seems weird to think I’ve been friends with her for for 24 years now. Some days I don’t feel much older than that. I also went out with Ken, my right hand man from high school. Everytime we get together we retell the same stories we’ve been telling for 20 years now.
On a negative note I not only lost my digital camera but I left my cell phone there. Thankfully Mom has already put it in the mail to me although she neglected to turn it off before doing so. I know Belle has called it which means it’ll beep every five minutes or so til the battery drains itself. My guess is someone from USPS will think it’s a bomb and blow it up.
Now I have to kick my running into high gear. I have 11 weeks til my first 5K run. Also going to the UCI Track Cycling World Cup next weekend at Home Depot Center. A friend from Atlanta will be racing for the U.S. National team so that will be cool to see how he does.
In the ATL Part Un…(that’s French for one, y’all)

Having a blast back home with the folks…too good to even bother taking out the camera for pictures. I took a few on the plane but otherwise it hasn’t seen daylight since. I still have more many people to see than I have time for. As it is I spend most of my time eating, drinking, or in the car on the way to do more eating and drinking. I wish I had known it would be this warm. I would have brought my running shoes.
After spending the first day helping my dad rake wet leaves California real estate prices were starting to look pretty darn good. However, after spending the next three days with Southern Belle they were looking as pathetic as ever. Southern Belle (or Belle Bottom depending on the mood) is really cool, which I knew already but now I have more proof. I even let her drag me around shopping in between pillaging Buckhead bars. I didn’t succed in getting her drunk although she later admitted to being closer to the edge than I thought. I’m pretty sure one more Crash & Burn would’ve done us both in.
Belle gave me a Tennessee Vols t-shirt which apparently was just a ruse to distract my attention while she claimed my pajama bottoms as her own. Those were my favorite ones too, dammit. Oh well, I suppose it’s still a good trade considering what all she gave me. I’ll glance over the fact that my goatee apparently rubbed a couple layers of skin off her chin. Her friend Kristie will be even more pissed at me when she sees that.
We’re hoping she’ll be able to come out to La La Land in April. The Braves will be in town to whup some Dodger backside so that could be a good time. That’s all for now. I’m meeting an old friend from high school for a few cold ones this afternoon. She’s actually the second longest friendship that I’ve got( the oldest being Ken, who I’ll be seeing on Friday)…24 years and counting so far. Off to Milledgeville tomorrow to spend a day with Sis then an early flight back to Los Angeles on Saturday.
O, I wish I was in the land of cotton

Old times there are not forgotten
Look away! Look away!
Look away! Dixie Land.
So tomorrow I fly back to the Big Peach to spend time with the folks and some old friends. I’m looking forward to it because I’ve got a lot to do this time. Usually i’m sitting around my parent’s house vegetating (can’t recall if that’s a word or not but i’m sure SBA will tell me if it isn’t).
I’m finally gonna meet up with Southern Belle, an Internet friend. Did you know Internet is supposed to capitalized? And what is it with me and younger women lately? I’m not seeking them out (I don’t think?) but thats what life is bringin me. I’m cool with it. Anywho, we’ve had some good laffs on the phone for a few years now so it’ll be cool to see the look on her face when she realizes I’m not really Tom Selleck. She said “K**** says you should take me to the Cheesecake Factory Sundy Not”…that’s pronounced Sunday Night for those of you north of the Mason-Dixon line (22 years in Georgia and I have no fucking clue where that is). I should make her wear a UGA t-shirt since she lost the UT-UGA football game bet. We’re going to pillage Buckhead and see how many bars we can get kicked out of….my guess is it’ll come from her flashing her pearly whites at other girl’s men, pool sharking or really bad karaoke. If we have a good time she might come out to Cali when the Atlanta Braves are in town.
I have a few other friends from high school and old jobs I plan to get together with and I want to see my sister’s house now that it’s finished. That thing is hugeriffic. I plan to take the blue pill and unplug from the Internet (translation: I don’t have a laptop) so no posts for a while…queue violins.
